Privacy Notice — Ridgefall Systems

This notice explains what Ridgefall Systems collects when you use this site or reach out, where that information goes, and what choices you have. Ridgefall Systems LLC is a one-person studio in Washington State, and I'm the only person here who handles it.

What I collect

When you fill out the contact form, I receive what you type: your name, email, your organization and its type, a description of what's not working, and any tools you mention. If you email me directly, I have whatever you put in that message.

The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps standard, aggregated traffic information — things like general region, browser type, and which pages get visited — to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse. That data isn't tied to your name, and I don't use it to identify you.

The site sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and uses no analytics that follow you around. I don't collect anything beyond what's described here.

Why I collect it

Three reasons, and only these:

To read your message and write back.
To scope and price work if we decide to move forward.
To keep a simple record of who I've talked with.

I don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.

Where it's stored and who sees it

Form submissions land in a private Google Sheet that I control, sent there through Google Workspace. Direct emails go to my Ridgefall inbox, also on Google Workspace. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare.

Those providers process the data on my behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Inside Ridgefall, I'm the only one who sees what you send.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiry records while we're in touch. If we don't end up working together, I delete your inquiry within 12 months. You can also ask me to delete it sooner at any time, and I will.

Your choices

You can ask what I have on file, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@ridgefallsystems.com and I'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have added rights under your local privacy laws, and that same address reaches me for any of them.

Children

This site and these services are made for businesses and organizations. They aren't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, I'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
